The Girls Go See A Modern Art Exhibition and Brownie-Tasting

Shelley: Huh.

Kelly: Hmm.

Nellie: Whee! Have you tried these brownies? Also, I think I will start hopping now.

Today’s pattern from Sheila, at Out of the Ashes. She’s having a sale, too: 15% off from right now through Sunday the 29th; use the coupon code DALLASLOVE. Have fun!

Oh, you shouldn’t have. *Now* how am I supposed to finish the nine costumes for the kid’s summer production of /Jesus Christ Superstar/?

I’m a new visitor and so I apologize if you’ve answered this question many times over: when you suspect you might make a dress more than once, do you transfer the tissue paper pattern to heavier paper? or muslin?

I’m too lazy to do much pattern transferring — I just try to be careful and vary where I place the pins so that the patterns don’t wear out *too* fast!

Love those wide pleats, but am not sure I could pull them off.

I am having trouble reading your blog on the blackberry, even though it was perfectly fine until a few days ago. Any insights?

Hmm. I don’t know! Could you let me know what it looks like in the “Trouble” state? Cut-off text? missing info? Thanks!
