  1. I fear that this is representative. I often bemoan that lack of dresses, although I’ve never taken a scientific sample. I do notice the large numbers of people who have no idea how to wear clothing that fits them. I was recently in an American Eagle Outfitters and noticed that none of the clothing on the sales staff fit (lots of plumber butt here). When I asked a staff member how one of their skirts should fit me, she said she didn’t know.Anway, great fabric. Looks like you’ll have working with it.

  2. Your site is great and the dresses are lovely but some of us just don’t look good in dresses – or even skirts – and haven’t since we were small children.

  3. Thanks!Oh, and don’t worry — I may be a dress evangelist, but I’m not a dress fascist. If you don’t look good in ’em, or even don’t FEEL good in ’em, I wouldn’t make you wear them. If I had that Katherine Hepburn, pants-friendly body, you can be sure I’d wear those from time to time …

  4. True Anon, it’s harder to fit in a dress than seperates. I am really long waisted and short legged. But! I did find a great black cotton dress at the GAP recently. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on an outfit!:)
